What to check before buying a business & marketing link
- Does the site publish contributor guidelines? Real publications state what they accept, and most rule out paid or promotional links.
- Look for a public price list or “sponsored post” page offering links in any category. That is a link-selling signal.
- Compare link metrics with organic traffic. Strong DA or DR with little traffic is common on business guest-post farms.
- In SEO and marketing, readers are practitioners: an article built around a link is spotted immediately and damages your brand.
